Joe Montgomery has performed in over 30 musical comedies. His
favorite roles include the ever-so-charming, sharp-shooting
Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, the deceitful, cunning
Jigger Craigin in Carousel, the pompous, officious Pennsylvanian John Dickinson in 1776, professional bachelor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady , handsome, skillful and egotistical hunter Gaston in Beauty and the Beast , and the ultimate law and order figure Javert in Les Misérables. Joe
won critical acclaim for his performance in 1776 and
received a "Shining Star" award for his portrayal of Jigger
Craigin in Carousel.
Joe is a member of Actor's Equity Association and the American Guild of Musical Artists.
He has a Master's of Music and has studied at the American Center for Music Theatre in
Los Angeles. His outstanding voice, perfect sense of comic timing and his joie de vivre
make him a favorite of audiences.
